Inspiration

What is inspiration? What drives us to become what we aspire to be? Are these qualities innate? Thoughts that are worth pondering. Our inspirations and motivations are as individual as we are. Inspirations can come from within and other times it from outside sources. The introspective inspirations of creatives are innately driven. Our inspirations are also a product of our experiences, innate drives and abilities, and the people that we are. Many times inspirations are rooted in those things that makes us feel. Our inspirations change as we go through different stages of our lives.

When I first started doing my art work again, creativity and motivation were so difficult to find. It was like someone had turned off the creativity faucet. They harder I tried to force something, the more it seemed to elude me. The key to finding information for me was getting back to the simple things. Inspirations is all around us if you can truly see the world for what it is. Getting out in nature or going for a simple walk it a great way to find inspiration. As of late, inspirations and ideas are over flowing. Our inspirations are all a part of our personal journey.

I had an old friend contact me and told me she had seen some of my recent work and just by observing my journey through my art work and creativity she had been inspired to start to draw again. What an honor! I was quite flattered to know that just by following my own passions I was able to inspire someone to follow theirs. It was especially gratifying to be able to help someone get back to drawing and following their passion for art. Way to go Holli!

I think we can underestimate the influence and effect that we can have over other just by being. There are things that we can see as simple and insignificant when to someone else it is some thing quite significant. We should seek to be the inspiration in the world instead of seeking to find someone or something to be our inspiration.
